WELCOME TO NEW MEMBERS

The Summer holidays have arrived. Our first event was excellent! Our Challenge Day for members was a great success. In the morning we warmed the horses up and then learnt about riding in a forward seat and up off our horses back in walk trot canter. Some of the girls went up 4/5 holes! Amy Hall won the award for being the best at this..she managed to stay in perfect balance on Buddy. We moved onto some jumping and the Award here went to Alex Green riding Icky. We stopped for lunch. The first Challenge after lunch was to plait a ponies mane in half an hour! Our winner in this section was Charlotte Bassett with Minty. The last event of the afternoon was the Gymkhana. The 11 years and under Champion was Rachel Anthony on Icky and Reserve Champion was Victoria Levitt on Magic. The 12 years and over was won by Amy Hall on Maralyn and Reserve went to Chloe Oram with Minty. Rosettes were presented at the end of the day.
