HORSEBALL

Have a go at Horseball

Saturday 20 February and Saturday 6 March

Come and see why this is the fastest growing equestrian sport in the country.

Try a fun, exciting team sport that will have you on the edge of your seat……………….

WHAT IS IT ?

  • An exhilarating team sport, refereed on a surface (approx. 70m/30m), 2 teams, 4 players a team on the pitch.

  • Most horses, from cobs to thoroughbreds  adapt to the sport very quickly, some even faster than their riders. Both enjoying it tremendously.

  • A team must make three individual passes before a goal can be scored. If the ball is not passed within 10 seconds, a penalty is given.( football sized ball with handle straps )

  • Strict rules are observed throughout play to help ensure horseball continues to remain a safe sport .

Come along and have go?

Our Have A Go Day Session will consist of a short demo followed by a one hour ridden session where participants of all abilities, can learn some of the safety rules and a number of passing, shooting and  pickup  techniques.  At this level our sessions  are fully broken down and begin in walk and trot.

If you have attended before and would like another go that's fine!!!
