Congratulations to our Cadet team who have been selected to play at 2010 Young Players International in Chambly, France as part of the GB Team. For pictures of the girls can be viewed on www.franceskayphotoevents.co.uk.

Now we have entered the summer season for shows training will be continuing on Thursday evenings on a fortnightly basis.

Cadets will train 6.30-7.30pm Juniors and Seniors will train 7.30-8.45pm

Subs will continue at £5 per session.

Dates: June 17th July 1st July 15th July 29th

This pattern will continue throughout the summer. In the Autumn we will return to Saturday afternoons.

In April we had a training/ Match day which was a great success. We will be holding 2 more of these Novice days as they were great fun.

Sunday 8th August and Sunday 12 September.

National Competitions: 24/25 July Lee Valley Friendly Regional

18/19 September Trent Valley League weekend

16/17 October Arena UK Championships weekend

New players.... we are still looking for new players and will be running have a go sessions. If you have any interested friends please call the yard or email me so I can book a session with them.

Please ensure that you are ready to ride, correctly turned out--boots etc and paid subs ready for your session to start!

After a few sessions you will have learnt enough to play a short game!

To attend the training you will need to join the British Horseball Association. Training membership is £10 for the year. This can be completed at the beginning of your first training session. Please telephone the yard or send an email to confirm that you are intending to come.

Please note in the interest of safety horses and riders the following equipment will be required:

· Boots or bandages and over reach boots on all 4 legs

· A standing martingale (a running martingale may be adapted)

· No Safety stirrups or bent iron stirrups

· Non-elasticated girth required

· English style saddle

· No Jewellery this includes watches, rings and ear rings
